After Submission, what Next?
Applicants will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of the application. Then, all applications are evaluated by at least three preliminary evaluators from FirstRand to previous winners of the scholarship. After evaluation, the board drafts a list of worthy applicants to be interviewed in Capetown or Sandton. Then, four shortlisted candidates are selected for the two education scholarships and are mandated to be available for the final interviews held in Sandton on Wednesday 17th April 2022. Ten shortlisted candidates are further selected for the FirstRand Laurie Dippenaar and FirstRand Foundation International Postgraduate Scholarships and the FirstRand Oxford African Studies Scholarship and have to be available for the final interviews held in Sandton on Tuesday 21st April 2022. Finally, the last announcement will be made before the end of June 2022.
